Internet and World Wide Web

         Robert Khan invented the internet in the late 1960's and it was originally created for military purposes and now it is used for communication across the world.  Tim Berners-Lee, a British scientist, invented the  World Wide Web   in 1989.  The  Web  was  originally  created to meet the demand  for  automated information-sharing between scientists around the world. Now it is used as a tool for people to interact on the internet. The web and interent  are different but work together, while the internet is the source of communication, the world wide web is a tool used for people to interact on the internet. T he first website was created by Tim Berners- Lee in 1991, created to explain the world wide web. Yes its still up, the url is " http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html".  My name is Rolando Adamovicz, and I am from Long island, New York. My dad is an immigrant from Argentina, and my mom was born here but from Puerto Rico. I competed in boxing, and am eager to constantly be facing new challenges and obstacles whether it's sports, academics, or life.  Digital media seems like a class where we learn how to incorporate art and code onto a digital platform, to help us advertise and improve a future company. It seems pretty difficult to learn at first, but I like the environment of the class and I am sure it'll become easier as you start to understand the concepts.
