Robert Khan invented the internet in the late 1960's and it was originally created for military purposes and now it is used for communication across the world. Tim Berners-Lee, a British scientist, invented the World Wide Web in 1989. The Web was originally created to meet the demand for automated information-sharing between scientists around the world. Now it is used as a tool for people to interact on the internet. The web and interent are different but work together, while the internet is the source of communication, the world wide web is a tool used for people to interact on the internet.
